Low Maintenance

• Unique timber putty line moulding which is an integral part of the sash frames, thus avoiding problems associated with putty shrinkage from glazing.

• Micro porous paint , 3 coats enables the timber to breathe and reduces the risk of paint blowing and blistering which minimises future maintenance.

• Profile edges have small radii (rounded) thus ensures full paint coating adhesion which greatly improves weather seal performance by reducing weakness created by sharp edges.

• Straight grained Certificated timbers, virtually knot free, which stops weather seal surface paint breaking down as a result of knot movement.

• To maintain your windows in perfect condition you simply need to sand them lightly and apply one coat of paint over the existing finish every 7 years.

Building Regulations

Fenestration self-assessment is a body set up in April 2002 to control the replacement of doors and windows within the scope of the building regulations for England, Scotland and Wales. It has been implemented to ensure that our homes are warmer and use less energy, benefits we can all appreciate. If registration and compliance is not undertaken it will result in difficulties if you sell your home, as the purchaser’s solicitor will require evidence via the registration
